THE CONTROLS

Mr Flip controls: from takeoff to touchdown.

Learn the four-part input sequence, then practice one clean landing at a time.

Mr Flip uses a single mouse button or touch input for a sequence of different actions. The same press does something different before takeoff and while airborne. Think of a jump as two holds separated by two releases, rather than one long click.

On a computer, use the left mouse button inside the game. On a compatible touchscreen, use a press-and-release gesture inside the game area. A keyboard shortcut is not required for this control sequence.

Your first Mr Flip practice session

  1. Read the current challenge.

Start the game and follow its on-screen introduction. Find the takeoff point and landing zone before you press. Later challenges can change the setup, so do not assume the same timing will work everywhere.

  2. Try the basic sequence.

Use one crouch, one launch and a simple flip. Your first goal is to understand which hold starts the jump and which hold controls the rotation. Extra tricks can wait.

  3. Look at the miss.

Did you rotate too far, stop short of a full turn, or land outside the marked area? These are different problems. Choose one to work on using the landing tips.

  4. Repeat with one small adjustment.

Keep the same jump and trick. Change the in-air release if rotation is the problem, or experiment with the initial hold if your landing position is wrong. Compare the result with your previous attempt.

Mouse and touch setup

Click or tap inside the game before starting a sequence. Keep your pointer away from the surrounding page so a drag or release does not become a page interaction. Use Expand if the game area feels cramped.

On a phone, try landscape orientation and allow the view to settle before your next attempt. Browser support and memory can affect the embedded game. If it is blank, slow or ignores input, use the browser help guide.

The linked video gives you a visual reference for the game. Pay attention to body position and the transition out of the flip rather than trying to copy an exact number of milliseconds. Different jumps need different timing.
